Beginning her career focusing primarily on belly dance, Eva la Feva blends a variety of dance styles to create a unique brand of theatrical burlesque fusion dance/performance pieces.
Eva la Feva has performed across the country with groups like the Beggar’s Carnivale (St. Louis), the Deadman’s Carnivale (Milwaukee), Musette’s Midnight Revue (Minneapolis, MN), and Columbia Alternacirque (South Carolina). Her festival credits include Show-Me Burlesque Festival (St. Louis, 2010, 2012, 2014), the Minneapolis Burlesque Festival (2013), and Diversitease (2014). While in Chicago, Eva is regular performer at Untitled and performs with Original Tease.
Eva’s belly dance credits include being cast in the international casting competition Bellydance Evolution (Washington, DC and New York, 2010), earning second place in the MAQAM Belly Dance Challenge (Pro Tribal Belly Dance Soloist category, Chicago 2009), and performed as a backup dancer with Bollywood star Shefali Zariwala in 2012 (Chicago).
What Makes You Naughty?
I am at my prime when I’m performing. I’m doing what fuels my soul, and through the movements I’ve practiced throughout my life I feel strong, sexy, and confident. Having an audience present when you’re baring your soul and also literally your body– it’s certainly a naughty feeling.
